Ben up and about this morning
Thank you for all those praying for Ben.
He took a turn for the worse yesterday and when we got back from RUSH Academy yesterday evening Lucy called out the doctor. At that stage Ben thought that he should go home as having been recovering he was suddenly feeling breathless and still struggling to eat properly.
The doctor who came out last night was lovely. He is well known to Lucy and Andrew and is the same doctor that had seen Ben ealier in the week who Ben trusts. They have taken more blood to test.
He is feeling better this morning and Jacqueline has given him some breathing exercises to help him and we are expecting the doctor again this morning. We are very much keeping Ben under our eye (Paul and I are working at the house today) and if he deteriorates further will look to send him home.
Do please pray for Ben – I know he would love to be able to stay and be part of this but if we feel that he is at risk then we will send him home.

Firstly, please let Ben know that there are many people lifting him up in prayer over here. It must be difficult to be feeling so unwell and being far away from home. We are praying for Gods healing and comforting arms around Ben at this time.
Great to read about all the other activities that everyone is involved in. Enjoy the sunshine there (even though the heat might seem unbearable at times). Weatherman here in the UK has said that more snow is on its way. Big hug to everyone from London.

Paul also says can he have his allen key from the mirror back please!!! He says put it into an envelope so that it isn’t lost!!!
Just been reading through todays blogs in reverse order, (so got to this one last). Very encouraging to see that you’re getting lots of opportunities to lend a hand to RUSH, but so sorry to hear that Ben is poorly. Really hope & pray that he makes a speedy recovery, & doesn’t have to cut short his trip.
