Bain family blog: Update from Tiernay

I cant believe there are only 4 whole days left of our trip.

Yesterday we took a walk out to see the river, on leaving we only got half way out and we had to turn back because it started to rain and the rain never stopped. We played pooh sticks on the way out over the river bridge. By the time we got back to lucys house we were completely soaked and had mud all up us from the cars splashing us with dirt as they went by, but I guess thats Africa for you.

We are having a great time I cant believe it’s nearly over, it feels like only yesterday that I pulled up outside Lucy and Andrew’s house with a lot of strangers who I now know. It’s crazy there are lots of people who I will miss lots and wish I could hide in my suitcase. This morning Sophie was waiting for her school bus to come and take her to school, so Cerys was trying to hid her, so she could play with her longer.

Bye, Tierney xxx

    Hi there the Bain Family

Great to read you are all having such a great time –and very educational as well.

The sad thing is that you get to know people so quickly and then have to leave , so i guess that you will have to start keeping in contact through letters and computers but it will be so nice to have friends in such far away places.
How close have you managed to get to animals.

    Enjoy your last few days.
Love from Ya Ya and Grandad
