All aboard Noah’s Ark….

Our readings in staff prayers on Monday and Tuesday were about Noah and his ark (for any clergy readers, yes we do use the lectionary for staff prayers!).

Assisted suicide and the “panel of experts”

The story is all over the news this morning about a new report by a “panel of experts” (according to the Independent) who are recommending that people be able to end their lives in the last year of their life. The Guardian calls it a major report.

Backwards and forwards……

Happy new year to everyone. It’s always good to review a past year and look forward to a new one. 2011 was generally a “good year” for me and mine. The economy may have been tanking, the world was in turmoil but there have been some really positive things last year.
